Gabriel Batistuta has denied having any knowledge that he is in line to take over the coaching role at Boca Juniors.
The former Fiorentina, Roma and Inter hitman says he is not ready to take on a position such as this.
"I have no intention of coaching Boca Juniors, and no-one from the club has approached me to do so," 'Batigol' told Novantesimo.it. "I would like to pass on my experiences to Boca, but it is not the right time at the moment,
"For the moment, I am not ready to return to a football team in Argentina," he concluded.
Batistuta made 344 Serie A appearances, scoring 200 goals.
