RKC - Vitesse

The Waalwijk side were thrashed 5-1 by Roda last weekend and still sit rock bottom in the league table. A loss on Friday will result in relegation to the Eerstedivisie. Defender Wouter Gudde is the only injury worry for head coach Ruud Brood. Vitesse have been in good form in the past couple of weeks and beat Groningen 3-0 last Saturday. The Arnhem side have climbed to 12th spot in the table following their win. Rogier Molhoek, Sinan Kaloglu and Onur Kaya are all unavailable due to injury.

Prediction: 1-3

Twente - Heerenveen

Twente were never really troubled by VVV last week and recorded a 2-0 win against the Venlo side. The Tukkers still sit atop the table and have a four-point lead on Ajax. Head coach Steve McClaren doesn't have any serious injury concerns, but Twente will have to make do without defender Nicky Kuiper. Heerenveen put in a strong performance against Sparta last week and defeated the Rotterdam side 4-1. The Friezen currently sit 11th in the Eredivisie table. Mika Vayrynen, Kenny Steppe, Brian Vandenbussche and Martin Lejsal are all unavailable due to injury, while Michael Dingsdag and Oussama Assaidi are both suspended.

Prediction: 2-0
