Manchester United have responded to their UEFA Champions League failure by announcing their second new signing for next season.
The Old Trafford outfit have confirmed terms have been agreed with Chivas for promising young Mexico international Javier Hernandez. Subject to a work permit, the deal will be completed on 1 July.

'Chicharito' joins Fulham defender Chris Smalling as a newly recruited Red Devil and will become the first Mexican player to sign for Manchester United.
As part of the deal, Manchester United will play a match to open the new 45,000 capacity Chivas Stadium in Guadalajara as part of its 2010/11 season preparations.
Sir Alex Ferguson said: "I am delighted to reach agreement with Chivas to bring such an exciting young striker to United, who has been in such prolific form for both his club and his country. He will be a great addition to our squad and we look forward to welcoming our first Mexican player in the summer."
Ferguson added, "We are equally excited to play our first game in Mexico, opening the magnificent new Chivas Stadium in July."
