Goran Pandev: Inter Want To Reach The Semi-Finals At All Costs

| |

Goran Pandev says Inter are willing to do whatever is necessary to advance to the semi-finals of the Champions League. The Nerazzurri are set to lock horns with CSKA Moscow on Tuesday evening and hold a 1-0 from the first leg.

"I don't know if we will play with three strikers or with another system," he was quoted as saying by the club's official website, inter.it.

"What I do know is that we want to reach the semi-final at all costs. The CSKA defenders are all very good and physically very strong, but we hope that we will convert all the chances we missed in Milan."

Pandev did not play for Lazio during the first six months of the season, but eventually his contract was rescinded and he joined the Beneamata in January.

"I have to admit that I never thought I would be here," he said.

"Those months at Lazio weren't nice but it's useless to talk about it now. You all know what happened. Then I arrived here at Inter and I'm very happy here.

"I knew Inter were a great team and we are all very united. We are in three competitions and I'm happy to be here."
