Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi has outlined his plans to stay in Spain as he declines the idea of a return to Serie A.
Reports suggest Juventus and a number of Italian teams are keen on the Italian international. But he insists on playing in the Primera Division for some time yet.
"I can see myself here next year also. The team and new coach are good and the president is a great person. I am very happy at Villarreal," he told Periodico Mediterraneo.
Asked whether he had received calls from clubs, Rossi made it clear he has not heard from any teams, and he underlined the club's objectives.
"No one has called me. My dream is to play in the Champions League. We are five points off it, but there are still eight games left to play," he concluded.
